My name is Dreamer. I am 30 years old. I was born, bread and buttered in Durban eMlazi- KwaZulu Natal. Completed my matric in 2010. An undergraduate student in Public Relations and Communications at Durban University of Technology (DUT) yet to enroll in 2022. I’ve worked at the Durban Lesbian & Gay Community Health Center since 2012, but moved to LGBT NGO’s untill 2018.
I have advocated several workshops for Transgender communities in KZN dwelling on Transgender issues; what is Transgender, Human Rights, the Liberation movement, Trans youth and Health reproduction. A queen who has won more than 10 titles in KwaZulu Natal.
In 2020, I registered my catering company – Leh’s Creation Catering. Now I am writing a book called “My journey”.

In 2011, when I got engaged, everything was so smooth till we decided to go for HIV test. After the result/outcome we went opposite ways, I think I got infected by my previous partner but I am not sure who could it be. Truly speaking I was in pain hence I was still heartbroken when my boyfriend left me for no explanation. Then I saw no need to tell anyone about my status or introduce a condom during intercourse. My journey wasn’t that easy till now. I’ve defaulted several times since I tested positive and had many body issues.
